We are happy to announce our Fall 2025 Partnership!
It will take place in the form of a Mini-MUN with the Sorbonne Model United Nations (SOMUN), from November 7th to November 9th.
This Mini-Conference will cover the topic of the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. Covering this topic will be two committees, which will be constantly in contact with each other, and whose actions will have a direct effect on the events of this crisis:
United Nations Historical Security Council
Military Crisis Cabinet
The First Committee will consist of 11 United Nations Security Council Members, who will be making diplomatic efforts to settle (or escalate) the conflict.
The Second Committee will feature 11 Ministers of Defence of the UNSC Countries, who will be collaborating with their colleagues in the UNHSC and dealing with their own crises, while directly affecting the events in the diplomatic committee with their actions.
The total number of delegates will be equal to 22, where AUPMUN and SOMUN will have 11 delegates each, spread across both committees.
On the evening of November 7th, we will kick off with the joint social in Le Volcan Bar, so both delegations can get to know each other.
The Debate will start on November 8th in Sorbonne, and will continue and end on November 9th in AUP!
